Position Summary:
This
technician works within a project team under the leadership of project
management and other senior engineers. The technician is expected to perform
various types of technical activities including testing, verification, operation
and manufacturing of prototype medical device consumables
.
This technician is expected to work and communicate well with other
members and leadership of the team in order to meet the goals of the project.

Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of the bioM rieux Quality System.
  • Execute test plans across a range of products as directed.
  • Assembly of engineering systems.
  • Troubleshooting of engineering systems.
  • Repair of engineering systems.
  • Design and development activities under the direction of leaders or mentors.
  • Provide verification documents and information for product validation purposes.
  • Other technician related tasks as assigned.
Training and Education:
  • Associate s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent years of experience
  • 0-4 years experience in related field, including performance consistent with said experience.
  • Additional
    chemistry experience preferred (pipetting, weighing, dilutions, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
