Ensures such policies areapplied by all employees.Supports food safety,quality and legality.Implement, support, andmaintain quality management systems, continuous improvementprograms, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenanceprograms.Incorporate and supportGMP''s and plant cleanliness among plantpersonnel.Implements and monitors overallproduction performance and quality standards and ensure objectivesare established, documented, monitored, and reviewed. Ensurenon-conformities identified in quality programs are addressed andcorrected.Communicates Safety, Quality, andFood Safety policies to all employees.Support,and comply with all quality management systems, continuousimprovement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventativemaintenance programs and legality.Other dutiesas assigned
Skills/WorkExperience:Strongknowledge of all governmental regulations concerning theoperations, e.g. OSHA, FDA, HAACP, as well as good manufacturingpractices for food processingfacilitiesAbility to read, analyze, andinterpret technical procedures, or governmentalregulations.Ability to write reports, businesscorrespondence, and procedure manuals.Abilityto effectively present information and respond to questions fromgroups of managers, clients, customers, and the generalpublic.Ability to work with mathematicalconcepts such as probability and statisticalinference.Personal computer skills to includespreadsheet software and word processing software (MS Word& Excel).Proven competency insupervisory activities which require conflict management,developing subordinates, directing subordinates, managing andmeasuring performance, motivating, building team spirit and morale,and understanding diverseviewpoints.
5 years of relatedfood experience to include at least 2 years at a Lead or Sr.Mechaniclevel.
