Our team designs a wide array of interesting projects from F-35 Hangars and Air Force pilot training facilities to commercial office buildings and local multi and single-family residential developments. Our multi-discipline team works together to deliver the complete package of Civil, Architecture, Structures, Mechanical, and Electrical. Our team executes these projects using the latest technology and encourages collaboration with the design team and contractors on design-build projects.


As a CADD Technician I, under direct supervision, prepares preliminary and final construction drawings using computer-aided design techniques and equipment. Our group offers a variety of project opportunities including Department of Defense Civil and Airfield projects and local commercial and residential land development projects. Our civil team includes multi-disciplinary expertise in site design, roadway/aviation design, structural design, and hydrology and hydraulics design.

Responsibilities for this position will be to support our team in the development of bid ready design documents for various projects and clients. Daily communication with our Task Managers is expected on key issues as projects progress. This position is flexible with the knowledge and capabilities of the applicant. We expect this position will grow in responsibility and leadership with the professional development of the applicant. The successful candidate will:

•Prepare final drafts of construction drawings, construction details, and utility plans.

•Utilize knowledge of various engineering practices, mathematics, construction materials, and other physical

sciences to complete drawings.

•Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design roadways, site grading, and site layout.

•Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D pipe and pressure networks to design underground utilities.

•Utilize Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis to design storm drain systems and detention basins.

•Utilize AutoTURN to design parking lots and roadways.

•Draw finished designs from sketches.

•Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


•2-year Associates Degree in related field.

•2 years of experience using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

•Familiar with basic elements of site modeling and construction practices.

•Experience in creating and managing construction documents.


•Proficiency with the following computer applications: Autodesk Civil 3D, Pipe Networks, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

•Proficiency in site and utility design from verbal or written direction.

•Organized with great time management skills.

•Ability and willingness to ask questions and think independently while working within a team.

•Enjoys creative problem solving and critical thinking

•Willingness to learn / work cross discipline.

•Ability to follow standards given on project startup.
